After four years of studio silence, Maroon 5 is back with Love Is Like, their eighth studio album, set to release on August 15, 2025. According to Adam Levine, this record is a “return to writing as a band again,” ditching the heavy-handed production of recent years in favor of something more organic.

Sound Check: Back to Pop-Rock Basics
Musically, the album leans into the band’s early pop-rock DNA—think Songs About Jane with a 2025 polish. Expect tight grooves, catchy hooks, and lyrics that walk the line between heartbreak and swagger. Levine’s vocals are front and center, and James Valentine’s guitar work finally gets room to breathe again.
Tour Time: 23 Cities, One Big Reunion
To celebrate the release, Maroon 5 kicks off a 23-date U.S. arena tour starting October 6 in Phoenix and ending November 25 in Detroit. Rising pop artist Claire Rosinkranz will open every show.
Why It Matters
This isn’t just another album—it’s a statement. Maroon 5 is proving they can evolve without losing their identity. For longtime fans, Love Is Like feels like a homecoming. For new listeners, it’s a reminder that catchy doesn’t have to mean shallow.
